Eckington Yards

LEED® Gold Mixed-Use Community with Four Residential High-Rises

Eckington Yards is a mixed-use community in Northeast DC comprised of three apartment communities–City Homes, 1625 Eckington, and Judd & Weiler–across four buildings above a below-grade cast-in-place garage. The project features 457 apartments and 45 two-level condos across three seven-story podium buildings plus 179 luxury condos in its 11-story high-rise. Between the buildings is roughly 70,000 square feet of retail in addition to pet salons, pools, outdoor kitchens, and rooftop amenity areas. The exterior facade consists of brick, architectural precast, metal panel, fiber cement, and high-pressure laminate. Located on an entire city block, Eckington Yards features a one-way road with traffic-calming devices that bisects the project, creating an activated main street that serves as an extension of Quincy Avenue.
