The Cynwyd
Five-Story, 205-Apartment Community with Pool and Rooftop Terrace
The Cynwyd is a five-story, 205-unit multifamily community in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. The project consists of a two-story concrete podium below five stories of wood framing. During construction, the team installed 70 micropiles on the site's north elevation to mitigate unstable soil. The Cynwyd's ample amenities package includes an interior courtyard with a swimming pool, dog run, clubroom, game room, and fitness center, and a rooftop terrace with views of the Philadelphia skyline. The project's studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments include granite countertops and brushed nickel fixtures.

Green Features
Successfully navigated delays created by COVID-19 and achieved substantial completion six weeks ahead of schedule.
Worked closely with Lower Merion Township officials as well as the Building and Planning Department throughout the entire project.
Created a Hydropack green roof system which surrounds the rooftop amenity area.
