Belmont Heights Estates II
358-Unit Apartment Community Under Hope VI Revitalization
CBG expanded Belmont Heights by constructing a 358-unit mixed-income community consisting of market-rate, tax credit, and public housing units. Designed by Torti Gallas and Partners, this phase also involved construction of two new community centers. Individual apartments feature built-in computer desks, gas-fired hot water heaters, and electric appliances. The Tampa Housing Authority selected New Jersey firm Michaels Development Co. to lead development efforts after winning a federal grant under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Hope VI Program to help fund the project.
