Donation Provides Lunch to over 300 District Residents

Washington, DC. — Clark Realty Builders, a Bethesda, Md.-based general contractor consistently ranked as one of the nation's top ten multifamily builders, sponsored a lunch today at "So Others Might Eat" (SOME) in Washington, DC. SOME aims to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in the Nation's Capital. Programs run by SOME include provision of meals, medical and dental care, showers, affordable housing, and clothing for the needy in DC. At today's event, subsidized by the company, Clark employees cooked and served meals to over 300 individuals.

"Clark Realty Builders continues to proudly serve the communities around us," said Tom White, senior vice president of CRB. "To be able to provide those less fortunate with not only a meal, but also our time, represents the best of what this company has to offer."

This donation marks another good deed in the Clark Companies' "100 Years 100 Good Deeds" campaign, which aims to complete 100 acts of service to the community to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Clark Companies. Clark Realty Builders' contributions to this initiative include donation of playgrounds to a school and park in Mexico, participation in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, and donations of time and materials to construct twelve new homes for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Md.
