Clark CARES Sponsors Inaugural Southeast Charity Golf Tournament
Midland, Ga. — Recently, Clark Realty Capital, Clark Builders Group, and Pinnacle hosted the first Southeast Clark CARES Open at Bull Creek Golf Course to benefit the Clark CARES Foundation, a public charity that provides direct aid to deserving non-profit organizations. Attracting more than 60 golfers and 40 corporate sponsors, the event raised over $90,000 for recipient organizations including the Valley Rescue Mission, Operation Home Front, and the Lower Chattahoochee Area Agency on Aging (AAA).

"On behalf of the thousands of military families served by Operation Homefront, thank you," said Kim Scofi, chapter president of Operation Homefront. "This generous donation from Clark CARES will provide much needed emergency assistance to those who sacrifice everything for our country."
The beneficiaries of the Southeast Clark CARES Open serve a wide array of charitable needs in and around Fort Benning and Columbus, Ga. Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance to wounded soldiers and military families in need.
The Valley Rescue Mission works to change the quality of life for the homeless, needy and those suffering from addictions to reenter society through a variety of support programs. Lastly, the Lower Chattahoochee AAA connects senior citizens and care givers with an array of services and assistance to improve the quality of life of older adults.

"In all that we do, giving back to our local community is always a priority and with the generosity of our donors, we can continue to make even more of an impact."
The Clark CARES Open is held in three locations across the United States; collectively, the events have raised more than $750,000 since their establishment four years ago. After the tournament, players attended a lunch reception held in the Bull Creek Golf Course Pavilion. The reception began with the announcement of the tournament winners followed by the official check presentation to this year's charitable organizations.
