Clark Builders Group Wins a Gold Constructech Vision Award
ITASCA, Ill. — Last week, at a technology conference at the Westin Chicago Northwest hotel, Constructech magazine awarded Clark Builders Group (CBG) with a Gold Vision Award for its innovative use of technology to streamline business operations. CBG, the nation's fourth largest multifamily home builder, was recognized for the successful implementation of a web-based photo management system and project information database, called iDAM, which the firm leveraged to create a uniform, company-wide system of file storing, sharing, and presentation. This year's award marks the eighth consecutive year CBG has been honored by the publication.

iDAM, a web-based digital asset management tool developed by Maryland-based Interface Multimedia, allows users to quickly and easily access content via a simple online search and download interface. CBG customized the software to automatically generate printed materials and statistics for use in presentations to potential clients, ensuring company-wide consistency and accuracy. The software also populates the company's public Web site, enabling a streamlined process for real-time updates.
