CBG Celebrates Milestone at Bainbridge South End
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—CBG Building Company commemorated the topping out today for Bainbridge South End, a 200-unit luxury apartment community set to open in mid-2018. Representatives from The Bainbridge Companies, the developer, and Axiom Architecture, the project's architect, were in attendance along with 250 field staff and subcontractors who helped CBG achieve this milestone.

"CBG has done an exceptional job with Bainbridge South End by keeping the project on schedule and within budget," said Ron Perera, Vice President of Development at The Bainbridge Companies. "As with all urban infill projects, the site is tight and there are numerous constraints with the adjacent light rail line, traffic on South Boulevard, and more, but the project team has handled the challenge very well. We look forward to opening the building in mid-2018 and to working with CBG again."
To mark this milestone, members of the construction and design teams signed a roof truss, which CBG then set as part of the wood-framed building's structure. All attendees enjoyed a barbeque lunch, raffle prize drawing, and take-home giveaway items.

Bainbridge South End is a transit-oriented community centrally located near downtown Charlotte and one block from the New Bern Light Rail Station. The six-story community will use a TPO roof and all units will feature EnergyStar appliances. Bainbridge South End will offer residents unit balconies, optional den layouts, courtyard, pool, fitness center, and below-grade parking. The community's rooftop terrace showcases a vivid view of Charlotte's Uptown skyline.
