CBG Begins Work on Luxury Apartments in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—CBG Building Company began work today with long-time partner The Bainbridge Companies, a leading owner, developer, and manager of luxury multifamily communities in the eastern U.S., on the design-build of Bainbridge South End, a 200-unit apartment community with numerous amenities and underground parking in downtown Charlotte. South End is one of the country's largest submarkets for multifamily development with a strong demand for high-quality apartment homes.

At the intersection of South Boulevard and Poindexter Drive, the transit-oriented community is located within walking distance of many downtown restaurants and business centers, and is one block from the New Bern Light Rail Station. The community also borders the entrance of the Charlotte Rail Trail, giving residents unbeatable access to the up-and-coming public walkway filled with eclectic cafes, bars, and public art.

The seven-story, wood-framed, luxury apartment community will feature robust amenities including a courtyard, outdoor pool, social lounge, rooftop deck, and fitness center. The community will utilize a TPO roof and all units will integrate EnergyStar appliances. Bainbridge South End is CBG's second project with Bainbridge, following the successful completion of One Easton, a 220-unit student housing community near the University of Delaware campus in Newark in July. Bainbridge South End is scheduled for completion in August 2018.
