The Villages of Benning

4,001 Units of Housing for the Army

Fort Benning is a public-private partnership with the U.S. Army to deliver military family housing at both Fort Benning and Camp Frank D. Merrill in Georgia. CBG’s work involved demolishing and replacing 1,683 homes and renovating 2,316 existing residences, including 500 with historic significance. The project scope included kitchen, bathroom, and window updates in 272 historic homes, as well as lead-based paint remediation and window replacements in another 320 homes. Additional work encompassed replacing garage doors on 290 historic carriage houses with custom fiberglass doors and preserving 289 homes through targeted repairs such as system upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, and roof replacements.
