The Parks at Monterey Bay

2,580 Homes for Students and Service Members in Master Development

The Parks at Monterey encompasses family housing communities for the 4,000-plus service members and their families assigned to the Presidio of Monterey (POM) and the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). With locations at the Ord Military Community on the former Fort Ord and La Mesa Village in Monterey, the development consists of 2,580 existing, renovated, and new houses. CBG built more than 359 new three- and four-bedroom homes, each designed with water-conserving fixtures, smart wiring, and attached or detached two-car garages. Renovation efforts upgraded thousands of existing homes, extending their quality and usability for military families. In addition to housing, CBG delivered a wide array of community amenities, including multiple clubhouses, ball fields, and recreation centers with indoor pools.
