The Eden

235-Unit High-Rise in Downtown LA with 9,000 SF of Retail

The Eden is a 235-unit, mixed-use, podium apartment development in Los Angeles, CA. The seven-story structure's facade consists of stucco, panelized steel, and panelized wood. The building offers penthouse units on the second and seventh floors, one level of below-grade parking, and two levels of above-grade parking. The Eden's studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans feature quartz countertops, tile and quartz backsplashes, luxury vinyl plank flooring, recessed lighting, and tile flooring and shower surrounds. The community hosts several high-end amenities including a podium-level pool courtyard with cabanas, firepits, and barbeque stations, as well as a two-story fitness center with an outdoor area. Other amenities include a clubroom with a kitchen, business center with an outdoor patio, ground-level dog run, spa, and a rooftop skydeck and lounge.

  • Worked closely with the client and development manager to resolve delays in permanent power delivery from the utility provider.
  • Coordinated with the design team to obtain UL ratings for custom shade structures as required by the AHJ.
  • Collaborated with the project team to overcome schedule impacts and achieve substantial completion ahead of schedule.

Building Green at The Eden
Designed to meet Title 24 and Cal-Green Building standards, The Eden features energy-efficient appliances and water-conserving plumbing fixtures, and promotes eco-friendly transportation through its bike storage and electric car charging stations. CBG is also implementing a construction waste management plan during construction.
