Clark Realty Management Wins Delta Associates Award for The Clarendon

Washington, DC—Delta Associates recently honored Clark Realty Management with its Award for Excellence for The Clarendon, a high-rise apartment building in Arlington, Virginia. This project received the award for Best Lease-Up Pace for a Northern Virginia Mid-Rise or High-Rise Apartment Community. For ten years, this award has recognized outstanding multifamily design, development, building, and management in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

"The Clarendon's win for Best Lease-Up Pace for a Northern Virginia Mid-Rise or High-Rise Apartment Community highlights its attractiveness to today's renter," said Grant Montgomery, vice president of consulting for Delta Associates. "Given the torrid pace of the Washington region's apartment market, a win in this category is a particular honor and indicative of a superior project."

Designed to add to the urban landscape of the community without overwhelming the single-family homes behind it, The Clarendon features a three-story archway with a street running through it, as well as a mid-rise section to ease the transition between four-story townhomes and the twelve-story high-rise section. The project achieved great success, achieving not only community support, but also a strong market demand.

Clark Realty Management received the award on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the headquarters of the National Association of Homebuilders in Washington, DC. This achievement marks the second time Clark Realty has received a Delta Associates Award. In 2003, Clark Realty Capital won for its successful development and lease-up of The St. James, a 40-story luxury apartment tower in Philadelphia.
