Clark Realty Donates Surplus Tubs from 3883 Connecticut Avenue to The Loading Dock
WASHINGTON — Clark Realty Capital*, Bethesda, Md., donated 146 tubs to The Loading Dock, a nonprofit building materials reuse center located in Baltimore, Md. Clark Realty Builders** Superintendent John Aldridge suggested salvaging the unused cast iron enameled tubs after the decision was made to order larger tubs for the luxury homes at 3883 Connecticut Avenue.

"I thought it would be a better service to give the tubs to somebody who could use them," said Aldridge. "I could not bear to see the tubs thrown away."
Nonprofit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and low- to moderate-income families will be able to purchase the tubs from The Loading Dock for a minimal handling fee. In its 15-year history, The Loading Dock has recycled 33,000 tons of building materials.
