ROCKVILLE, Md. — Clark Realty Builders (CRB)* broke ground recently on Rockville Town Center, a new 221-unit apartment development in Rockville, Md. Including projects under construction, Clark Realty Builders has now worked with Archstone on more than 1,500 multifamily homes in Virginia and Maryland.
The Fitz at Rockville
With a unique design by Kaufman Meeks & Partners of Houston, Rockville Town Center wraps its six apartment buildings around a multiple-story, pre-cast parking garage. The wood-frame residential buildings are four stories each and connect directly to the corresponding parking levels, allowing residents the convenience of avoiding stairs or elevators when entering and exiting their homes.
Individual apartments feature high-speed Internet access, nine-foot ceilings with crown molding, and optional gas fireplaces. Residents choose from nine different floor plans, all with white-on-white kitchens and large cabinets. The community also offers outdoor courtyards with fountains and a luxury clubhouse with a resort-style outdoor pool, cardio fitness center, media room and other recreational amenities.
Rockville Town Center is located in Montgomery County, not far from I-270 on Rockville Pike, just north of the Rockville Metro Station. The $19.5 million construction project is scheduled for completion in early 2004.
