Clark Realty Builders Breaks Ground on Metropolitan at Dulles in Virginia
HERNDON, Va. — Clark Realty Builders (CRB)*, Bethesda, Md., recently broke ground on Metropolitan at Dulles in Herndon, Va. The $18 million, 244-unit, market-rate housing community is CRB's 20th project for repeat client KSI Services, Inc. of Vienna, Va. The first apartments will be available for lease in early 2004.
The Cosmopolitan at Lorton
Designed by Heffner Architects, P.C., Alexandria, Va., the seven, four-story residential buildings are clustered around a pre-cast concrete parking garage. Floor plans for the wood-framed, brick-clad buildings include 116 one-bedrooms, 116 two-bedrooms, and 12 studio apartments. Individual residences average 1,000 square feet and include washers/dryers. Select apartments also offer fireplaces. Residents will enjoy access to a clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and billiards room. Metropolitan at Dulles is conveniently located near Route 28 and just two miles from the Dulles Airport Access Road. The development is being financed in part by the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA).
