Clark Builders Group Selected to Build Mixed Use Urban Community

GAITHERSBURG, Md.—On Friday, first-time client BP Realty Investments, LLC selected Clark Builders Group (CBG) as the general contractor on a $27.7 million project for the Paramount at Watkins Mill, a luxury apartment community in Gaithersburg, Maryland. With completion scheduled for summer 2013, CBG will construct 224 luxury apartment units in two buildings above ground floor retail and underground parking. The Paramount is part of the surrounding Watkins Mill Town Center development, a 200-acre smart growth project along I-270 slated to include 4.5 million square feet of restaurant, retail, hotel, and office space.

The four-story Paramount at Watkins Mill will encompass an extensive amenities package for its residents - including rooftop terraces, a heated swimming pool, and an exercise pavilion - which overlook a park. The Paramount is the initial phase of the more extensive Spectrum at Watkins Mill development project, which will include additional residential components and offices within walking distance of forest preserves and stream valley buffers.
