CBG Completes Transit-Oriented Community in Alexandria
ALEXANDRIA, Va.—CBG Building Company completed construction ahead of schedule today on The Parker, a 360-unit community located in proximity to the Huntington Metro Station. CBG's second project for MRP Realty, the wood-framed mid-rise fronting Huntington Avenue and Metroview Parkway features a 468-space, precast parking garage below five levels of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.

The amenity-rich community features a full fitness center with yoga studio and indoor golf simulation room, outdoor dog park with drinking fountain, indoor pet spa, two courtyards, a pool, a bocce court, and a walking trail with outdoor fitness stations.
The Parker is located less than a half mile from the Huntington Metro Station, which provides immediate access to Old Town Alexandria, downtown Washington, D.C., the Pentagon, Reagan National Airport, and the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor via the Yellow and Blue Lines. The Parker's Huntington Avenue address also provides residents with easy access by car to the District's major roadways, the Capital Beltway, and the George Washington Parkway.
