CBG Begins Construction on Nation’s Tallest and Atlanta’s First Prescient Community
ATLANTA, Ga.—CBG Building Company began work this month on Generation Atlanta, a 336-unit, market-rate apartment community with 12 residential floors above five levels of parking plus amenities. The project will be the tallest building constructed using Prescient technology, and the City of Atlanta's first such structure.

The community is situated in downtown Atlanta on a 1.5-acre site opposite the Center for Civil and Human Rights; near landmarks such as Centennial Olympic Park, Philips Arena, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the Georgia Aquarium; and walking distance from the Marta North Avenue Station.
The project features deep foundational construction with auger cast piles and an open, 380-space parking deck. Generation Atlanta's amenity and leasing area includes a fitness center, clubroom, elevated pool, and rooftop sky deck.

Prescient's patented BIM design and USA-made, recycled-content steel minimizes costs, saves time, and reduces Generation Atlanta's environmental footprint to less than one percent waste. Generation Atlanta also promotes walkability through its urban, pedestrian-friendly location in close proximity to public transportation.
When complete in August 2020, Generation Atlanta will mark over one million square feet of CBG construction using Prescient systems.
