Roland Clarke is a multifamily residential community with 306 luxury apartments. The eight-story building, which consists of a five-story, 340,000-square-foot type 3A construction building above a three-story type 1A podium with one basement level, wraps a 420-space precast parking garage. The project's amenities include two landscaped courtyards, a rooftop pool, dog park, business center, fitness center, and indoor/outdoor sky lounge. In addition to the residential community, construction also includes work at 1950 Roland Clarke Place to feature a park, trail, and bocce court. The site connects to other landscaped areas west of the Roland Clarke Place extension, including the Reston National Golf Course, and is less than eight miles from Tysons Corner Mall.
Incorporating green design and construction practices, Roland Clarke is designed to meet the National Green Building Standard certification. As part of its construction indoor air quality plan, CBG protected ducts from dust and dirt intrusion and prohibited smoking in the building. The project also uses low-VOC paints, adhesives, mastics, and glue.
