The Paramount at Watkins Mill consists of 224 luxury apartment units in two buildings above ground floor retail and underground parking. The Paramount encompasses an extensive amenities package for its residents including rooftop terraces, a heated swimming pool, and exercise facility, all of which overlook a park. The Paramount is the initial phase of the more extensive Watkins Mill East End urban development project, which will include additional residential components, offices, and a retail town center concept, all within walking distance of forest preserves and stream valley buffers. The transit-oriented project is also located near several major road systems and public transportation options.
The pedestrian-friendly Paramount community will be constructed within walking distance of a park and forest preserve, with easy access to services, restaurants, and shopping. The project is bordered by an Amtrak/MARC rail station, and is planned as a main station for the programmed Corridor Cities Transit (CCT) Light Rail system.
The project team plans to recycle 50% of construction waste and install Energy Star® appliances in the apartment units.
