Located in Orange County, California, Ophelia is a five-story wrap around a six-story concrete garage. The project features amenities such as a large courtyard with a pool and spa area, a roof deck with kitchen area and seating, and a dog park. Ophelia's 262 luxury apartments feature high-end finishes such as quartz countertops and Whirlpool® appliances. The roof deck is placed over units that are strategically framed to withstand heavier loads so the roof deck can have amenity items such as pedestal pavers, grills, Kettal Pavilions, benches, loose cobble, and more.
Ophelia promotes walkability via its proximity to local parks, dining, and retail such as the Santa Ana mall and shopping center. The project also boasts bike storage areas to encourage sustainable transportation and lower emissions. Ophelia features LED lighing wherever possible, even within decorative fixtures. CBG's sustainable construction practices include careful sorting and separation of wood scraps and drywall from other debris to their respective facilities, recyling between 75 and 100 percent of waste. CBG is also proud to work with Kizh Nation Resources Management to identify and preserve any historic Native American features that may be discovered during construction.
