The Exchange at Potomac Yard is a 1.9 million-square-foot development with a planned 800,000 square feet of office and hotel space, 100,000 square feet of retail, 1,700 units of residential, and a new Metro station. Notch 8 achieved LEED® certification and features a total of 253 units in a six-story, wood-framed building with amenities including a pool, bathhouse, party room, and green roof courtyard. The community includes 480 below-grade parking spaces across three levels with designated electric vehicle charging stations. Notch 8 also features 69,900 square feet of retail space that houses a LEED® Silver certified Giant Supermarket.

Notch 8 at The Exchange at Potomac Yard achieved LEED® certification for residential units, and LEED® Silver certification for the Giant Supermarket. The community contains designated electric vehicle charging stations, as well as hybrid and low-emitting fuel-efficient vehicle parking spaces, in the garage with bike racks throughout the property. It also includes a construction waste management plan to streamline recycling. Building components will include low-emitting, regional, and recycled materials. A green roof courtyard houses intensive vegetation, including perennials, shrubs, and small trees.
