Mallard Pointe is a 260-unit luxury apartment community spanning three buildings. Its leasing office and amenities are located under a post-tension concrete podium with wood-framed units above. After extensive preconstruction, CBG began work on the 11-acre site which posed significant challenges in terms of undercutting and removing existing clay. Mallard Pointe's expansive community includes a pool, two activated courtyards, a dog park, a car wash, surface parking, and other unique hardscape features.
Located in northeast Charlotte, Mallard Pointe promotes alternative transportation through its walkability to several grocery stores and shops as well as its proximity to UNC Charlotte and multiple corporate campuses. The community features EnergyStar® appliances and a roof membrane with a high solar relectivity index to limit the heat island effect.
