Highgate at the Mile is a six-story, 395-unit luxury apartment community with 2,150 square feet of street-level retail and a precast parking garage. Located a half-mile from the Tysons Corner and McLean Metro stations, Highgate offers a mix of residences, including studios, one-, and two-bedroom luxury apartments, in addition to two-level loft units with direct street access. The amenity-rich community achieved a LEED® Silver certification and includes a rooftop pool terrace, sprawling workout facility, zen courtyard with reflecting pool, resident party room, entertainment kitchen, circular fire-hearth lounge overlooking the courtyard, and public park featuring a play area, lawn, and dog park. The project’s construction was unique in that the courtyard is completely enclosed, so units had to be omitted then expedited to complete the project on time. Despite these challenges, each unit phase was delivered months ahead of schedule. Highgate is located near Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria, within walking distance of employment centers, top-tier retail venues, dining, and nightlife.
Highgate achieved LEED® Silver certification with sustainable features that include low-flow water fixtures, water-efficient landscaping, use of regional and recycled materials, high-efficiency mechanical systems, green roofs, cisterns for irrigation, and sustainable materials benefiting indoor environmental air quality.
