This 201-unit mixed-income community consisting of market-rate, tax credit, and public housing units. Designed by Torti Gallas and Partners, the 84 one- and two-story buildings include one- and two-bedroom units, which range in size from 945 to 1,600 square feet. Residents enjoy built-in computer desks, gas-fired hot water heaters, and electric appliances. Community amenities include a swimming pool, tot lot, and clubhouse. The Tampa Housing Authority selected New Jersey firm Michaels Development Co. to lead development efforts after winning a federal grant under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Hope VI Program to help fund the project.
