Pacific Beacon

2,398 Beds in 1,199-Unit Luxury Apartments for Students and Sailors

This first-of-its-kind housing development for single, enlisted sailors in San Diego is a public-private partnership with the Department of the Navy. Pacific Beacon's four 18-story buildings serve as a striking addition to the San Diego skyline and house nearly 2,000 sailors in 941 dual-master suite residences. An important component of the Navy's Ship to Shore initiative, Pacific Beacon gives each sailor more than 200 times the amount of room than what was previously available in on-board accommodations. The spacious apartments boast energy-efficient, fully equipped eat-in kitchens, convenient in-suite washers and dryers, light-filled living rooms, and balconies that embrace the near-perfect climate of the region. Pacific Beacon also includes a vast array of community amenities, including a rooftop sky terrace with pool and spa, three fitness centers, a WiFi coffee bar, two rooftop penthouse game rooms, a multimedia theater, several lounges, a mini-mart, and a dry-cleaning valet. Outdoor amenities take advantage of San Diego's ideal weather and include an athletic field, running path, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, BBQ areas, and an outdoor courtyard living room.
